Kinder Joy is a chocolate confections from Ferrero International, Italy. The chocolate maker has launched its Kinder Joy chocolates through its subsidiary Imsofer Manufacturing India Private Limited in India. Currently, the chocolate is imported from Poland, and re-packaged at a small facility at Baramati in Maharastra. The Kinder Joy chocolates are egg-shaped chocolate confections, which enclose a capsule containing a small plastic toy, sometimes requiring assembly. The egg is divided in two plastic compartments. One half contains a milk and white chocolate frosting with two crunchy hazelnut/chocolate balls and the other half contains a surprise (plastic toy) and a plastic spoon stuck to it.
