    One common problem faced is difficulty in understanding the iTunes library syncing concept. Use a run once tutorial or do some simplification to the process so that users don't accidentally delete their collection. It nearly happened to me once.

    Apple products are very stylish and especially good looking. The iPod shuffle or common man's Apple product, is stylish and cheap, for about 50$. The stylish and sleek body, with the clip which I think is one of the main reason of its success. The user experience is also good, with almost all of the functionalities implemented in few buttons. Getting to the technical part, the disadvantage is of the proprietory protocol that apple uses to transfer music ie, iTunes library synching.

  • Idea unlink iPod and iTunes
    Apple products would find wider acceptance if they weren't so tightly linked together. For instance, to put in a song into an iPod you need to use iTunes. This becomes an issue on platforms which don't have iTunes, such as Linux. I for one, would have considered buying an iPod if not for this problem.
